Digitizing staff appraisal and bonus calculation for McDonald's Austria
From completing and managing cumbersome and unwieldy Excel documents to a robust application that streamlines the entire process.
The Challenge
One of the owners of McDonald's franchises in Austria faced difficulties in managing the process of staff appraisal and bonus calculation. The existing solution, based on bulky Excel files, had become inefficient and difficult to manage, especially for a growing network. The need to digitize these complex processes led to the partnership with Reea.
The solution
Using AR technology, users Thus, we created the QSS platform, a complete solution that includes a mobile application (available for internal distribution, but also publishable on the App Store and Google Play) and a web administration panel. The app is used by restaurant managers and shift supervisors to generate, visualize and manage the operational reports needed to evaluate employee.

Through our experience and expertise in developing customized solutions, we were able to turn the initial challenge into a robust and intuitive platform. Today, QSS is an essential tool for optimizing employee performance and effectively managing bonuses.
Key functionalities
- Calculate employee bonuses and generate individual and monthly reports.
- User authentication by administrative invitation without automatic registration.
- Automatically generate reports based on metrics such as cleanliness, service times and uniform compliance.
- Export and share PDF reports directly from the app.
- Store and filter historical reports for up to 3 months.
The web administration panel allows administrators to manage users and restaurants, define roles and oversee the report generation process. This provides complete transparency and detailed control over access and functionality of the platform.
