An online platform that signs its contracts on paper, while perfectly normal in Romania, still seems out of place. But the problem has been solved, and we want to tell you a few things about this solution, because it's another cool project we recently implemented. Namely: the integration of our electronic signature solution Mysign with the Licitatia.ro platform. As we've gone from stacks of paper, printer, document scans and emails to contract issuance and electronic signature by both parties in one single platform, below we give you some details.
Who is Licitatia.ro and what was the problem?
For those who don't know, Licitatia.ro is the number 1 platform for monitoring public tenders in Romania. Basically, they are the people who help you not to miss any business opportunity in your relationship with the state. Like any business working with many B2B clients, they have tons of contracts to sign. Before we stepped in, the process looked like this:
- They generated the digital contract
- Print it out
- Sign it with a pen
- Scan it
- Send it to their partner
- Partner repeated the same process (printed, signed, scanned, sent back, so 4 more steps)
- And only then they could get to work
Sounds familiar? It's the classic process that many companies still use. But let's be honest - it's like sending an email, printing it out, stuffing it in an envelope and sending it through the post. In 2025.
Our solution: Mysign integrated with Licitatia.ro
We’ve put the development teams together and we’ve created the first major B2B integration for Mysign, our e-signature startup. Basically, Mysign developed an SDK and made it available for Licitatia.ro to integrate with the platform. This way, the two platforms communicate with each other and transform the entire document signing process, so that now, the flow looks something like this:
1. Licitatia.ro administrators generate the pdf contract directly from the Licitatia.ro platform
2. The contract is automatically signed by the Licitatia.ro administrator
3. From Mysign, an email notification is sent to the other party for signature
4. The partner also signs electronically (of course, without opening the printer) using the link in the email received.
5. And that's it! The contract is signed, perfectly legal and effective. The Mysign platform instantly sends a notification to Licitatia.ro, and from that moment on, the contract in the version signed by both parties can be downloaded from the Licitatia.ro platform, of course by both parties.
Sure, there are 5 steps compared to 10-11 before, but in the new flow, steps 1-3 happen practically instantaneously. Simple, right? From days of waiting, to a contract signed in minutes. No printer, scan, emails sent or worse, couriers.
How did we do it?
We don't want to bore you with technical details, but essentially, we created an API integration that allows the two platforms to communicate seamlessly. We worked closely with the team at Licitatia.ro to:
- Analyzing their existing flows
- Identifying where we can streamline the process
- Interface creation and testing
- User training
What has changed for Licitatia.ro?
In short, the whole contracting process. But let's point out some specific benefits:
Time saved
The process that used to take hours or days, now happens in minutes at most.
Zero paper
No more printing costs, no more lost documents, no more physical files taking up space. In other words, less hassle and a cleaner environment.
Better experience for everyone
Both Licitatia.ro employees and their partners now enjoy a simple and intuitive process. Plus, everything happens securely, in compliance with all legal regulations. The simple electronic signature has legal value, and the signed documents can be used as evidence in court. Not that we would wish that on anyone.

Conclusion
At Reea we like to turn complicated processes into simple and efficient solutions. Mysign's integration with Licitatia.ro is not only a technical achievement, but also a perfect example of how technology can cut through red tape and make life easier for everyone.
If you too have a process that still relies on paper and pens, maybe it's time to talk about how we can digitize it. Leave us a comment or contact us directly and let's see what we can do together!
